1) Is a druuvai with horns automatically Royal-type? Yes! The same with extra scales, or minor mutations! Druuvai do not have traits - instead they have "tiers". Once a druuvai has reached a certain tier, all available traits for the type become available. Once a vai is upgraded to Royal, horns and scales can be added and removed as desired! 2) How do I upgrade my vai to Royal-type? For the same cost as a MYO slot, you can purchase an upgrade! You can also commission any official artist to make the upgrade. 3) Is there a base I can use? Yes! Right here! 4) Can I make a common druuvai? Just whenever? Yes! Absolutely! 5) Can I sell common druuvai? For sure! No permission necessary - they're fully open! 6) Can I add mutations? Not without purchasing an upgrade or custom! They're tied to the lore, so please don't. You can, however, earn mutations when the ARPG goes live. 7) Can I give my druuvai another species form? As many as you want! They're innate shapeshifters, so please feel free to use your druuvai's design for other species! 8) Can Royal vai have different beak shapes like the beetle vai? Yes, they can! 9) Can druuvai have wings? They cannot have wings as part of their base design, but with enough stardust, they can manifest wings of any type for short periods of time! Druuvai with permanent wings are considered Royal type. 10) Can druuvai have limbs made of goo or magic, even if they are Common? Yes, absolutely! Even large parts of their body can be made of magic, like scars or tails, hair, wings, ears, or even entire parts of their body such as from the torso-down. Internal organs, however, cannot be replaced by magical limbs or fill-ins. If a druuvai's heart, lungs, or brain were to be damaged or removed, they would die.
LORE QUESTIONS
1) Do druuvai enter the cycle of reincarnation on Baeriia? Do they keep memories of past lives, or become ghosts? Nope! Druuvai are extraterrestrial and are already spirits. As such, they cannot become ghosts or demons, nor do they reincarnate! When they die, their stardust dissolves and redistributes, often returning to the earth. 2) Do druuvai have any naming themes? Not firmly! However, many druuvai have either Celtic names or Arabic names! Specifically, Judeo-Arabic based names are fitting for vai! 3) What happens if a druuvai is made with ill intent? A trinket can be made to serve its master, as can a golem, regardless of the master's intent. Druuvai can be controlled by their maker, if their maker were human and not druuvai. Hence, the vai would be evil. Alternatively, a druuvai can be made with uncontrolled and volatile overdoses of stardust, and as such can be born with little sanity. 4) Does the parents' appearance effect the offspring? Not often! Only when a druuvai sacrifices its own stardust to create the offspring does its appearance get effected. Instead, druuvai appearances are dictated by altitude, mineral composition of its trinket/golem, temperature, stardust quantity and composition, and the elemental magic types that were used to bring it to life. 5) Do vai need a special vessel to travel through space? Nope! Gatherer-spec vai can break their bodies into pure elemental dust and travel harmlessly for long distances through space. 6) Do druuvai hybrids exist? They can! If an amount of stardust were to be imbued into a mortal creature before it were born/while it was still being formed, it could be born with druuvai-like traits. However, the process is often dangerous and results 50% of the time in the death of the creature. 7) What is the lifespan of a druuvai? Hundreds of years, if not thousands! They often do not die of old age. As long as a druuvai collects stardust faster than it naturally sheds from their bodies, it will continue to age and live, unless it is killed. 8) How strong are the firstborn? Some of them are quite strong, but for the most part they do not outclass other vai in power. It depends how much stardust they've continued to collect. Firstborn, however, shed stardust much slowly and are harder to kill, as they are more tightly bonded to themselves. They also have more innate knowledge of the universe, often resulting in unique magical powers such as foresight.
